Winter in Crete,

Winter Villas in Crete, Crete without the crowds

If you’ve ever visited Crete in the summer and wondered what it was like  pre tourism –  we now offer the opportunity to come and see for yourself.

Crete in the winter
Crete, Empty beaches in Autumn & Winter

Out of season there are empty beaches for a brisk walk, uncrowded museums, markets where you jostle only with locals and Chania’s almost traffic free  backstreets to fully appreciate the Venetian, Greek and Ottoman mix of architecture.  Walkers will have tracks and paths to themselves and  with an average, in November, of 5 hrs sunshine per day and  temperatures  around  18 deg. it is ideal for being out and about.

A select few of our Villa owners have offered to welcome guests up to the end of December. They and we are confident you’ll love this unique experience.  Each Villa in our Crete Winter Villas Collection has  a roaring fire, is close to a village with a taverna that stays open for the locals (so you know it’s good) and has a pool ready for use, by only the bravest.
