Cap D'en Font Villas
Cap D’en Font, Menorca
Located on the southern coast of Menorca, Cap d’en Font, or locally Cabo d’en Font, is a small residential area, which sweeps around a promontory, or cape, jutting out into the sea. The west facing position of Cap d’en Font gives some magnificent views, and in the evenings some of the most spectacular sunsets in Menorca can be enjoyed from our villas in this area.
Cap d’en Font has a picturesque and rocky coastline, which is punctuated by accessible platforms and steps to safely access the sea for swimming, as well as occasional coves slicing into the rock with tiny sand beaches. Or simply find a great spot to relax and enjoy gazing out at the many small boats moored up in the waters & inlets around the Cape.
Just a short distance to the east is the well known traditional village of Binibeca, where a variety of restaurants & shops are on offer. Several restaurants are scattered through Cap den Font and neighbouring Binisafuller. For further choice of shops, supermarkets and services Sant Lluis is around 6 minutes by car.
For larger coves of white sand, try those close by in Binisafuller and Biniparratx, or a little further away are Es Canutells, Binibeca and Punta Prima. The piers off Cap d’en Font and the small coves carved into the rocks along this stretch of coast also give access to the clear blue sea, and all are fantastic places for a refreshing swim.
The location and views from Cap d’en Font feel quite remote, yet at around 20 minutes away from Mahon it is conveniently placed to explore the island capital. Occupying a spectacular setting above the large natural harbour, Mahon’s charming harbourside and maze of narrow streets are bursting with authentic tapas bars, restaurants, shops of all types and places to absorb the atmosphere and culture.
