Sant Climent Villas
There is more to Sant Climent than first meets the eye! For foodies, there is much to recommend Sant Climent. There are numerous restaurants, cafes and bars in Sant Climent, including some that are renowned for the quality of their fantastic food & ambience, such as Es Moli de Foc where there is also a micro-brewery. A traditional wood-fired bakery, a small butchers, a patisserie and a delectable chocolate shop are among the tempting shops that make a shopping trip a real pleasure in Sant Climent. Evenings in Sant Climent can be spent enjoying live music in one of the bars or conversation in a lively restaurant. If you crave more nightlife than Sant Climent offers, then it is easy to make the short journey to one of the many choices in Mahon. Not far outside Sant Climent, literally in the rocks, lies the well-known club Cova d’en Xoroi. Chilling out & sunsets in the early evening, the party really starts from 11pm with DJ’s bringing the disco alive until dawn!
The beautiful coastline is just a stone’s throw away, head to Cala Biniparratx which is a pretty virgin cove, or to Cala Binidali cut into the other side of the headland. Cala En Porter with its fabulous beach is a little further west along the coast.
It is certainly worth making the short trip into Mahon, or Mao as it is known locally. Occupying a spectacular setting above the large natural harbour, Mahon’s charming harbourside and maze of narrow streets are bursting with authentic tapas bars, restaurants, shops of all types and places to absorb the atmosphere and culture.
A number of historic sites are dotted around the pretty pastoral landscape, from prehistoric to Roman sites, and can be explored on walks around the area. And for a different viewpoint, hop up and enjoy horse riding in the countryside just outside Sant Climent.
