One of the smaller resorts of Mallorca North coast, lovely little Cala San Vicenc continues to retain an air of the simple fishing village that it was before the arrival of tourism. Centred on a series of inlets carved out of the steep rocky coast there are three sandy beaches in total each retaining its own character, set back are our Cala San Vicenc Villas
The resort itself has seen tourism flourish in a very low key manner and aside from two large hotels it retains an atmosphere of gentility with tourism kept to a handful of streets lined with villas set in pleasant gardens, reaching inland along the valley floor. Visitors to Cala San Vicenc soon become part of the town and feel almost like valued guests than tourists.
There are two sizeable sandy beaches Cala Barques, at the western end of the town, and the larger of the two, has a wide sandy beach whilst picturesque Cala Molins boasts turquoise sea and pale sand making its crystal clear waters shimmer an iridescent turquoise. Tucked between the rocks which reach out into the sea between these two Calas, is the diminutive Cala Clara and over a bluff beyond Cala Molins is the small rocky cove of Cala Carbo. There are plenty of restaurants and an array of small seasidey shops, minimarkets and a baker. Nightlife is very low key and mostly centred on the small bars, cafes and restaurants and its very pleasant to follow the coastal walk between the Calas in the evening. For slightly more challenging day time exercise Puerto Pollenca is just under 2 and kms away as the crow flies, although rather further by boot and you can return by taxi or bus.
